Casual leopard!

I haven't published this outfit because I was super sick  that day and I look so swollen. However, I really like sharing all outfits- even if it's just a couple of pics. About my outfit: I have seen a couple of bloggers wearing casual leopard shorts during the day so I wanted to dress down my leopard skirt. Reason why I added a flowy dolmain top to keep the proportions balanced and casual. About my day: I went shopping after speaking with Flor de Maria Fashion- she told me about this amazing leopard bag at Aldo so I headed to the mall (you can see the bag HERE). I also got the boot cut jeans and a simple tee for class.  I promise I'll take lots of pics this weekend! I hope you have an amazing weekend! XOXO

No había publicado este outfit porque fue un día que me sentía mal pero me obligué a salir de la casa- y en mi opinión, me veo como hinchada. Pero me gusta compartir todos los outfits que pueda con ustedes- así sean pocas fotitos. Sobre mi outfit: he estado viendo muchísimo unos shorts de leopardo en bloggers y diferentes redes sociales de moda y lo utilizan de día. Razón por la cual quise usar mi falda de leopardo de una forma mucho más casual- le agregué una camisa grande para equilibrar las proporciones.Sobre mi día: hablé con Flor de María Fashion por teléfono y me contó sobre la cartera de leopardo de Aldo y salí corriendo a comprarla (les conté de esto y se las mostré AQUI). Miami Metrorail!

I've been living in Miami for 5 years and I have never been on the metrorail.. until yesterday.  We decided to try to go to a mall by metrorail but we didn't realize it was around 22 stops (and each stop was LONG). After spending an hour in the metrorail,we decided to go back- on our way back, the train just stopped ( I don't know what happened but the power went out and we were in the middle of nowhere for 30 minutes). The trip was a mega fail but at least we did something different and the scenario for the pics changed a little. After that, we had some venezuelan food and I had to do some school projects. About my outfit: I got this shirt at Furor last week, I loved the color&movement (and it's so versatile, I have a lot of outfits in mind for this shirt). How's your week going? XOXO

Cinco años viviendo en Miami y nunca me había montado en el metro- es que de verdad no está bien desarrollado y es casi imposible transportanse en él. Pero decidimos aventurarnos e intentar llegar a un centro comercial -aparte aprovechamos para cambiar de escenario en las fotitos. Después de estar 1 hora en el tren y darnos cuenta que todavía nos faltaban 15 paradas...decidimos regresarnos; y en el regreso, el tren se daño y estuvimos otro rato parados en el medio de la nada. Llegamos con un hambre terribe y yo estaba antojadísima de comer comida venezolana. Luego me fui a hacer un proyecto para una clase y listo. Sobre mi outfit: le compré esta camisa a Furor Moda la semana pasada- me encantó el color, lo cómoda que es y lo versáti (tengo muchas combinaciones en mente). De resto, mantuve el outfit de colores neutraes. ¿Cómo va tu semana? Un besote!!

Denim on Denim

I think I have never worn jeans in this blog ( I haven't worn them in ages!). I don't know why after I graduated I started hating jeans, I really don't know how to explain it. I feel like a lot of people wear jeans as a uniform, they were them every single day and just pick a random t-shirt. Not wearing jeans challenged me to be more creative with my closet. Back to my outfit, I finally found the perfect bell-bottom jeans, I love the color and they are super comfy (oh, I almost forgot, and they cost me $15!!). I wanted to wear denim on denim- I love that trend but didn't have two completely different shades of denim. I kept the accessories simple and I just added my new leopard bag (isn't it gorgeous!?). I was about to buy it a couple of months ago but I don't know why I hesitated and then, it was sold out everywhere (even online). However, I saw that Flor de Maria Fashion just got one and I spoke with her and I ran to the nearest Aldo to get it - it was the last one! About my day: I went to class feeling so sick, came back home and slept the whole afternoon. When I woke up, I felt better so I decided to dress up a little and go out with my boyfriend and get ice-cream. Would you wear denim on denim? What did you think!? XOXO

Creo que nunca me habían visto usando jeans en el blog.. ¿verdad? No se porque después de graduarme de la universidad les agarré un poquito de fobia- es algo que no puedo explicar pero me siento desarreglada en ellos. Siento que muchas caemos en la rutina de usar un jean con cualquier camisa en el closet porque es FACIL y dejar de usar jeans me retó a ser más creativa. Volviendo al outfit de hoy, tenía tiempo buscando unos jeans bota ancha y encontré estos el fin de semana por $15!! Me encantó el color, y aparte son comodísimos.Lo quise combinar con una camisa de jean- recuerda que para que denim con denim se vea bien, los colores del jean/mezclilla deben ser totalmente diferentes. Mantuve los accesorios simples, y les quería mostrar una nueva adquisición que llevaba siglos buscando también... la cartera de leopardo.  La vi hace tiempo en la tienda (Aldo) pero no me decidía y luego vi que se había agotado en internet y en todos lados- hasta que hablé con Flor (que también la tiene) y me dijo que corriera a la tienda que tienen pocas.... esta era  la última que tenían. Sobre mi día: fui a clases en la mañana y regresé a dormir toda la tarde por eso de que me sentía mal.... cuando me desperté me sentía como nueva y me animé a vestirme y salir a comer un helado con mi novio.. nada del otro mundo. ¿Qué les parece el denim con denim? ¿Lo han usado? ¿Se atreven?

Fire Ashes

The day started super early for an 8am class (I was about to go to class in my pjs today!). I had a quiz, the professor lectured us for a while and I came back home to sleep for a couple of hours! When I woke up, I really wanted to dress up a little. I headed to eat and do some errands for class- I went to Michael's (an arts&crafts store) because I needed to get some materials for a project. I had an amazing idea in mind but I knew it wouldn't come out as expected so I decided to lower the difficulty. I'll definitely show it to you when it's ready! After that I came back home to do homework and study (aghh). About my outfit: I wanted to wear this scarf as a turband (turban+headband), you have already seen it as a skirt and as a regular scarf. I also wanted to show you this amazing necklace from Brittney Miranda- I love the little gold spikes, you can dress it up or down. On formspring somebody asked me to do more outfits with this nude wedges... so I invite you to head up to formspring and ask me anything! El día empezó tempranito para ir a las clases a las 8 am ( ni les cuento del outfit porque estuve apunto de irme en pijamas). Tuve un quiz y regresé a la casa a dormir otro ratito- como les he dicho, no soy de despertarme temprano. Después quise arreglarme para ir a pasear, comer, y hacer unas diligencias. Les cuento que estuve horas paseando en Michael's (un sitio que venden materiales para hacer proyectos); tenía una idea genial para un trabajo de una clase pero después de pensarlo mucho decidí bajarle el nivel de dificultad (soy bastante perfeccionista, y se que no iba a quedar como lo veía en mi mente). Llegué a la casa a seguir estudiando (esto es a millón, he tenido quiz/examenes todos los días). Sobre el outfit: ya han visto esta bufanda hasta de falda. También quería mostrarles este collar de Brittney Miranda- tenía tiempo buscando uno así con pullitas y dorado, apenas lo ví me enamoré. Dependiendo de con que lo combines puede ser elegante o casual. En formspring me pidieron que utilizara estas plataformas de nuevo, si quieren: pregúntenme lo que sea por esa vía. El perrito que ven en las fotos en un perrito callejero, siempre le llevamos comidita de perro (cada vez se nos acerca más). Stupid Crazy love...kinda

Remember I told I spent Sunday at JC Penney? This is what I got... colorful jeans! I was so excited because they were only $16 (originally $40)- I decided to take them in royal blue too (and I wore them the day after, so you'll see them soon). My day started at 6am to go to class at 8am, I wore a similar version of this outfit (sandals instead of wedges and a casual necklace). Later at night, we headed to the movies because I won some tickets to saw a private screening of Crazy Stupid Love- however, we got there a little late and the theater was full. We decided to stay at the mall but the heat made it impossible- I felt like I was going to melt because of the jeans. I know I have complained of the heat several times- but I'm serious.. this is not normal (90F degrees at 8pm!!). Thanks for your sweet comments!! I really appreciate it!

¿Se acuerdan que les conté que pasé el domingo en JC Penney? Esto fue lo que encontré JEANS DE COLORES- estaban a solo $16 (originalmente $40) así que agarré estos y unos en azul rey (parte del outfit de mañana). Utilicé una versión similar a este outfit en la mañana (pero con sandalias en vez de tacones y un collar más de día)- luego en la noche nos adventuramos al cine ya que me gané unas entradas para ver Crazy Stupid Love- pero... había muchísimo tráfico y cuando llegamos la sala de cine estaba completamente llena. Teníamos ganas de quedarnos en el centro comercial un ratito pero el calor no era normal- diran que me la paso diciendo eso pero estar en jeas en un mall al aire libre era IMPOSIBLE. Terminamos cenando y viendo una película en la casa.

Fallen Floral!

First of all, I know I've been wearing these shoes a lot lately- but they are so comfy and they go with anything. Also, I'm wearing the same bag as the last post.. but sometimes I hate having to change bags and everything that's inside. The started by going to a new Ann Taylor store, I loved the whole boutique concept-  I'll tell you more about it next week since I'm going to a cool event with style influencers and bloggers. After that, my boyfriend needed work clothes so I went with him- after that we were super hungry and we decided to eat arabian food. At the end of the day, we decided to watch Harry potter 7.2- I truly loved it; as a fan, I read the first book when I was 11, I felt like a part of my life was over. Primero que nada me disculpo que estoy utilizando los mismos zapatos y cartera- pero no se i les pasa, pero hay días que no quiero cambiar las cosas de una cartera a otra... en cuanto  a los zapatos: es que me encantan (son cómodos, casuales y combinan con todo). El día empezó yendo a la apertura de un nuevo concepto de tienda de Ann Taylor- pero el jueves que viene voy a un evento privado solo para bloggers y editores (ya les contaré que tal estuvo). Después de eso, acompañe a mi novio a comprar ropa para el trabajo y fuimos a comer comida árabe. Finalmente decidimos ir a ver finalmente Harry Potter 7.2- a mi me encantó, como fan de los libros (los cuale empecé a leer cuando tenía 11 años) sentí que una parte de mi vida se acabó. Pero tengo los 7 libros y estoy segura que los volveré a leer todos algún dia. ¿Ustedes la vieron? ¿Qué les pareció? FELIZ SEMANA! <3

Rainy Sunday

Sunday was extremely rainy, it rained the whole day. We were lucky that we could take the pics when it stopped for 5 minutes. My day started recording a video where I show you how to wear the same summer scarf in several ways (including the skirt you saw HERE). After that, I headed to the supermarket- reason why this outfit is very comfy, casual and relaxed (perfect for a Sunday afternoon). As you can see, I'm wearing two pieces that were on my July's wishlist: nude wedges and a clear umbrella.  I found the wedges the day before at the Miami Swim Lounge- where I felt in love with Xiomara Lisette's new collection. I got the clear umbrella for $10 on ebay; I'm going to leave the link below so you can check it out. El domingo estuvo extremadamente lluvioso, amaneció lloviendo y siguió lloviendo hasta la noche. En esos 5 minutos que escampó un poco, pudimos tomar las fotos rapidito. Mi día empezó grabando un video que probablemente comparta por aquí también (es de como usar un pañuelo de muchas formas, incluyendo la falda que vieron AQUI). Después de fui al supermercado, por eso el outfit totalmente relajado, cómodo y casual- perfecto para un domingo en la tarde. Como pueden ver, estoy usando dos piezas que estaban en mi lista de compras para julio: las plataformas nude y el paragua transparente. Como les conté ayer, las sandalias las conseguí en Miami Swim Lounge- las sandalias son de la nueva colecció  de Xiomara Lissette. El paraguas lo conseguí por ebay en menos de $10, abajo les pongo el link. Espero que tengan una bonita semana- pronto compartiremos el reto de la semana y les tenemos una sorpresita.
