Maxi floral dress!

I love maxi-dresses- they are perfect for hot weather, easy to accessorize and super comfy. I bought this dress two years ago and I've worn it so much. I like to add a belt to emphasize the waist- I kept the accessories simple because I don't want them to compete with the bright print. About my day: my bf made me look at cellphones because mine is about to die- but I refuse to change it (I'm a little attached to it lol). Then I started window shopping at the mall, I stopped at Aldo and felt in love with their bags- I'm a bag-holic! Later, I went to Victoria's Secret to check out a perfume I really liked- but I feel like everyone smells like their perfumes. I was going to the movies but there was a change of planes, some friends were coming over to my house!   How was your Saturday? xoxo

Me encantan vestidos largos- son frescos, faciles de combinar y cómodos. Este vestido lo compré hace 2 años y lo he usado muchísimo. Me gusta agregarle un cinturón para marcar la cintura. De resto mantuve los accesorios simples porque el estampado de este vestido llama muchísimo la atención. Sobre mi día: fui a comer, estuve viendo celulares porque el mío tiene años conmigo y no anda funcionando muy bien- pero me rehuso a cambiarlo todavía. Después de eso pasé por Aldo (solo window shopping), especialmente me enamoré de unas carteras pero tengo prohibida la compra de carteras jaja. Después pasé por Victoria's Secret para ver un perfume que me había gustado- pero siento que todo el mundo huele a lo mismo gracias a esa tienda. Iba a al cine pero hubo un cambio de planes porque unos amigos venían a la casa a visitar. Ese fue mi día... ¿cómo estuvo tu sábado?

A pink Saturday!

Yesterday, I was checking one of my favorite blogs (Lovely Pepa)- and she was wearing an amazing pink blazer I wanted from Zara  with Leather pants. I felt super inspired and tried to give it my own twist- I don't own a pink blazer but I have this vintage oversized shirt that can be worn over a tee.  While we were taking the pictures, I decided to put my hair up in a bun (that's why there are some pics with my hair down too). About my day: I wanted to buy some high-waisted shorts and I have been looking everywhere but I can't find them! After that, I had dinner with my boyfriend and we ended up watching a movie called "limitless". How was your weekend? Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there!

Ayer estaba viendo uno de mis blogs favoritos (Lovely Pepa) y ella estaba usando un blazer espectacular rosado de Zara con pantalones de cuero. Cuando vi ese blazer en Zara, me enamoré- lo quería comprar pero me pareció un poco caro para el color y el tiempo que podía estar de moda. Me sentí super inspirada y quise darle mi toque personal- como no tengo un blazer rosado, utilicé esta camisa vintage abierta sobre una camiseta. Mientras estabamos tomando las fotos, decidí recogerme el cabello en un moño (por eso verán algunas fotos con el cabello recogido y otras con el cabello suelto). Sobre mi día: estuve buscando unos shorts altos que llevo meses buscando y no encuentro en ningún lado. Luego fui a comer con mi novio y terminamos en el cine viendo la película "Limitless". ¿Cómo pasaron su fin de semana?Feliz día a todas las madres!

My boyfriend's bday

As I told you, yesterday was my bf's bday. Even though we only were going to eat dinner with a couple of friends, I like to dress up a little bit for special ocassions- everybody else was wearing jeans but I don't care. We went to a sushi place called Umami, it was delicious! We sang "happy birthday" and that was it. The party is tonight! Como les conté, ayer fue el cumpleaños de mi novio. Y aunque solo ibamos a comer a un sitio de Sushi que nos encanta con un grupo de amigos, a mi me gusta arreglarme un poco más de lo normal para ocasiones como esta- el resto estaba en jeans pero no importa. El sitio se llama Umami, y comimos riquísimo; le cantamos cumpleaños y listo- la celebración es hoy! Todavía no puedo creer que cumplió 24- me acuerdo cuando celebramos juntos su cumpleaños número 19... como pasa el tiempo.  Más abajo les cuento sobre mi outfit....

I've worn this blouse I couple of times in this blog, I love how girly and versatile it is. Yesterday, I decided to take off the tag and worn it backwards.  I added this Amrita Sing necklace, which I love!

He usado esta camisa varias veces en este blog, me encanta que es bastante femenina y versatil a la mima vez. Hoy decidi quitarle la etiqueta y ponermela alreves. Le agregué este collar de Amrita Sign que me fascina!

Also, I wanted to tell you a little bit about my skirt. It was my moms, and she used to wear it in the 80's. You have no idea how long it used to be, I altered it to make it look modern. If you want to see how long it was, check it out HERE.
