Light as a feather!

When I bought this shirt (from furormoda.com), I was wearing these flare jeans with a white blouse and a leopard scarf. I tried it on and I loved how it looked but I always forgot to wear it this way. Since I was headed to eat and walk around the mall with my bf's family, I wanted to wear something comfy and simple- I saw these earrings and I was like.. they are perfect, they do not overwhelm the shirt! Cuando le compré esta camisa a Tati (de Furormoda.com), estaba usando estos pantalones con una camisa blanca y la bufanda de leopardo. Al probarmela, me encantó como se ve veía con los jeans anchos pero no había tenido la oportunidad de usarla de esta manera. Ya que solo iba a comer y al centro comercial con la familia de mi novio, quería algo cómodo y sencillo- vi estos zarcillos/aretes y me parecieron el complemento perfecto a la camisa sin que se viera recargada. This is so Miami!

When I was trying this look on, the first thing that came to my mind was "this is SO Miami". It's the perfect outfit if you have to run errands or be outdoors without melting. I really tried to make the bag the center of attention  because of its gorgeous color (and I swear, the pictures do not give it justice, it's even more spectacular in person). I wanted to wear my orange shorts so I could colorblock, but I decided to tone it down with neutral colors. On Thursdays I don't have to go to school so as you can imagine, I wore this to do some groceries and walk out my little dog. I hope you have an amazing weekend! I really appreciate you stopping by! Cuando estaba escogiendo este look, lo primero que se me vino a la mente fue "este outfit es demasiado Miami". Y me gusta mucho lo casual que es, es perfecto para si vas a estar mucho tiempo al aire libre/caminando y simplemente no quieres derretirte. La protagonista es definitivamente la cartera- y eso que lads fotos no le hacen justica, el color es aún más espectacular en persona. Tenía pensado hacer un poco de color-blocking y usarlo con mis shorts naranjas pero obté por una combinación más neutral y dejé que la cartera sobresaliera. Como se pueden imaginar, este outfit lo utilicé para un día tranquilo: los jueves no tengo clases entonces me encargo de hacer diligencias, sacar a mi perrito etc. Espero que pasen un feliz fin de semana. Since I was a little girl, I get obsessed every time I get something new. My mom used to hide my clothes because I would wear them over and over again- I would grab them as soon as they were out of the dryer. You already saw this shirt with white shorts last week-I swear I wanted to wear it the whole week. This time, I paired it with high waisted leggings and a black bandeau top since it is see-through. I love the movement of this shirt and... can you believe Tati from Furor named it after me? (check it out!!). We took these pics right during sunset and I love how the sheerness of the shirt looks with the sun. I wore this outfit to a friend's house party! I hope you are having an amazing week! XOXO

Desde que soy chiquita: cuando me compro algo nuevo, lo utilizo hasta más no poder. Mi mamá tenía que esconderme la ropa porque la usaba apenas salía de la lavadora. Esta camisa la compré la semana pasada y si fuera por mi, me la hubiera puesto todos los días de la semana. Anteriormente la vieron con unos shorts blancos- esta vez la quise combinar con unos leggings a a cintura y una bandeau negro de moda que se transparentara. Amo el movimiento de esta camisa, y .. pueden creer que Tati de Furor la llamó "Nany's beige top". Tomamos las fotos justo durante el atardecer y me encantaron como quedaron. Este outfit lo utilicé para ir a una fiesta en casa de un amigo! Un abrazo a todas!!

Wearing jeans.. AGAIN!

On the last post, I told that I haven't worn jeans in ages, but I felt in love with these Forever 21 jeans and  I haven't stopped wearing them. People in school asked me if I got them at J-Brand, I was like "no way, they were only $16!). I also like that I'm challenging myself to make them look chic instead of boring. I know I always complain about how hot Miami is (and it still is) but you always are indoors with the a/c on; reason why I decided to wear this outfit ( and I had the cold still and the a/c is terrible when you are sick). I got this bag a couple of days ago and I'm in love with it.... isn't it gorgeous!? it dresses up any outfit! I took the pics just before arriving to a Furor small shopping event- there we talked for hours, drank wine, and I did a little shopping. I got a shirt that you saw in the Furor Series and a new one- can't wait to show you. I came back home straight to the bed, I had to wake up early to go to school! En el post pasado les conté que tenía siglos sin ponerme jeans, pero encontré estos en Forever 21 y no los he soltado para nada. Hasta me preguntaron en la universidad si eran de J-Brand, pero no!- costaron solo $16 (aparte, creo que me estoy retando a que no se vean aburridos).  Se que seguro pensaran que me estaba derritiendo en Miami con este outfit, pero es que sinceramente en esta ciudad- por mucho calor que haga, siempre estás en un aire acondicionado.  Y como estaba con dolor de garganta y un poquito de gripe, quise agregar la bufanda de verano- y la tela de la camisa es super delgadita, así que es perfecto para estar adentro. Esta cartera me llegó hace 2 días, me enamoré apenas la ví, ¿no les parece una belleza!!?. Las fotos las tomé antes de llegar a casa de mi amiga y dueña de Furor, ya que tuvo un pequeño evento donde podíamos comprar, chismear, y tomar vino. Le compré dos cositas, una camisa que vieron en la serie de Furor y otra camisa que me fascino- se las muestro pronto. Estuve ahí hasta tardísimo la noche del jueves hablando, y llegué directo a dormir porque tenía clases y una presentación al día siguiente. Espero que esten pasando un bonito fin de semana! FUROR SERIES: Waiting for fall

I love dresses with details on the back, they look super simple until you turn around. I really like that you can wear this dress over your swimsuit as a coverup but you can add a blazer for a polished look too. As I told you before, Tati and I were trying to come up with looks that can transition from summer to fall, and you can definitely change the shoes and add a little cardigan when it gets colder (I can't wait for this terrible humidity to go away!). I haven't done much lately-  I got a cold, so I've been sleeping like crazy. I even went to class in gym clothes! But I'm feeling much better, I even took some pics today! I'll share them soon! A mi me encanta cuando tienes un vestido puesto y parece sencillo hasta que te volteas y tiene un detalle en la espalda.... y justo así es este vestido. Lo mejor es que el color es tan versatil que puedes agregarle un blazer y hacerlo más formal, o simplemente ponerle una bufanda de verano para darle un poco de color. Como les conté, Tati y yo estabamos pensando en looks que pasaran del verano al otoño- y este look agregándole un suéter y unos botines, queda perfecto para temperaturas un poco más bajas. Les cuento un poquito de lo que estado haciendo... que no ha sido mucho ya que estoy un poquito enferma (gripe, nada del otro mundo). Lo que he hecho es dormir todo el día e ir a clase - a las cuales he ido casi que en pijama porque no podía con mi alma. Hoy ya me siento mejor, tomé unas fotitos y las compartiré pronto! I had so much fun on Saturday, Tati from Furor came to my house with clothes from her store so we could do a little photo-shoot. I really liked that she wanted the photos/looks to still be me, I would wear every single outfit since it was more like a collaboration. This one was the first look, I love this dress. Originally, I wanted to wear it to Premios Juventud last month but I wasn't able to get it on time so I had to improvise. You can wear it for a girl's night out or to a cocktail party, I specially love the zipper detail on the sleeve (you can adjust it). Did you like the outfit? How would you wear this dress? Ayer fue un día super chevere, Tati de Furor vino a mi casa con outfits en mente para hacer una pequeña sesión de fotos con  ropa de su tienda. Me encantó porque aunque era su ropa, ella quería que las fotos fueran totalmente YO; por eso fuimos al sitio típico donde las tomos y yo usaría todos los outfits que escogimos.  Este fue el primer look con un vestido perfecto para ir a una fiesta o salir en la noche a una discoteca con tus amigas. El vestido tiene detalles que me encanta, como el cierre de la manga- así lo ajustas a tu gusto.
