South Pointe Park

Yesterday, Sunday, I really wanted to go to the beach- but I wasn't in the mood to wear a swimsuit or deal with sand. I remembered that there's a park in South Beach called South Pointe Park where you can walk around and just enjoy the beach- very California-ish . However the last time I was there, we went through the beach (a no dog-allowed zone)- so I had to carry Chiki for a little bit. When we got there, it was even better than I expected; it's a doggy park/jogging trail/children park/relaxing park. We took a lot of pictures, I hope you like them! Happy Monday! XOXO

El domingo tenía ganas de ir a a playa, pero no a tomar sol ni andar en traje de baño- entonces me acordé de un muelle/parque que hay justo en South Beach. El problema era que no teníamos idea como llegar sin tener que cruzar la playa- razón por la cual tuve que cargar un rato a Chiki en la cartera (en las playas no permiten perros). El parque es más espectacular de lo que pensaba: hay perritos, un parque de niños, un sauna, y si sigues caminando puedes llegar al muelle que conecta a la playa. Tomamos muchísimas fotitos, cosa que espero que no les importe ni las aburra! Un abrazo a todas y feliz lunes!

Deerland Beach!

Yesterday was a little different from the usual Sunday, we went to this place called "Deerland Beach"- about 50 minutes from Miami. A couple of friends went to do wakeboarding- I wasn't in the mood but I watch, we took pictures of them( falling, mostly), and we ate. We had like a little picnic with sandwiches, cookies, and snacks. About my outfit: even though, it was cloudy.. it was SO hot! Reason why I wanted to wear this little romper I found on the sale section of Urban Outfitters. I paired it with my new oxfords, a tan bag and a fedora! Once again, thanks for following my blog! You are the best!

Ayer fue un domingo diferente, fuimos a un "Deerland Beach", como a 50 minutos de Miami. Fuimos un grupo de amigos porque iban a esquiar en el agua- el día estaba un poco nublado y yo no tenía muchas ganas de meterme en el agua y caerme (jaja). Estuvimos ahí bastante tiempo, llevaron comida y teníamos un mini-pinic montado- galletas, sandwiches, pitas, y más. Tomamos muchísimas fotos de la gente esquiando y echándose unas matadas que ni se imaginan. Sobre mi outfit: el día, aunque estaba nublado, hacía un calor impresionante. Por eso opté por un mini romper (que encontré en rebajas en Urban Outfitters) y mis oxfords!  Una vez más, gracias por seguir el blog! :D

Raspaditos & shopping!

The day started as any other sunday- my bff and I went to eat lunch (sushi, of course!). Then, we had no idea what to do so we decided to walk around Sunset Place. I wanted to go to Urban Outfitters, I really love everything there; however, I feel like it's extremely pricey for the low quality you get. After searching the whole sale section, I found a cute little romper- it looks very 50's. Later, we ate some "raspaditos" ("shaved ice" but I call them raspaditos); I used to eat it at least once a week when I was little! It's super delicious! Finally, I wanted to go to Zara so bad. I don't usually buy there but the Spring Collection is BEAUTIFUL! I want every single piece of it! I found the perfect shoes to level up at color-blocking. I hope you have a great week!

El día empezó como un domingo tranquilo- mi fotógrafo y yo fuimos a comer sushi (¡¡como siempre!!. Luego no sabíamos que hacer así que nos fuimos al Sunset a pasear. Entramos a Urban Outfitters, de verdad que me encanta esa tienda pero me parece que todo es carísimo- y la calidad parece ser casi la misma a la de Forever 21 pero 3 veces el precio. Luego nos comimos un raspadito , o como el lo llama: piragua, de fresa y leche condensada. Tenía como 8 años sin comerme uno! Después de registrar toda la parte de rebajas encontré un romper super lindo que parece vintage. Luego quise ir a Zara; nunca me ha gustado comprar en Zara porque me parecía que todo el mundo tenía la misma ropa de ahí . Pero estoy enamorada de la colección de Primavera de este año, los colores son espectaculares- quiero todos los pantalones, todos los blazers, TODO! Encontré los zapatos perfectos para subir de nivel en mi "color-block!". Espero que tengan una bonita semana!

Drape necklace...

I get a lot of questions on how do I stand wearing heels every single day; and I always answer that I don't- I love wearing flats and sandals too. For example, if I have worn this outfit with heels it would have looked too dressy for a casual sunday. I jut wanted to look comfortable but feminine in my nude dress. We went out to have lunch at this amazing italian restaurant- we ate like crazy. I added the same gold clutch I was wearing the night before- even though it can look a little elegant for the ocassion- I think that if you pair it with neutral colors- you can wear it during the day. I added a pop of color with this amazing bib necklace- that came with matching earrings.

Siempre me preguntan que como hago para estar en tacones todos los días, y siempre les respondo que aunque parezca: también utilizo sandalias y flats. También considero que si hubiera usado este vestido con zapatos altos se hubiera visto muy de fiesta para un domingo. Y lo que quería era estar cómoda para ir a comer y hacer diligencias. Fuimos a comer a un sitio italiano, comí hasta más no poder porque de verdad estaba exquisito. Sobre el outfit, quería mantenerme en los colores nude pero quise darle un toque de color con el collar y los zarcillos/aretes. Quise agregarle la cartera dorada que utilicé la noche anterior, que aunque es un poco de fiesta, pienso que con un outfit relajado y neutral puedes utilizarla de día.

Oxford shoes!

Another extremely hot day in Miami; reason why I wanted to wear a light shirt and super short shorts. I've seen a lot of celebrities wearing a knotted shirt, and I think it makes the outfit look more casual and relaxed than if it was tucked in. I paired it with these new oxford shoes and my little quilted bag from Mimi Boutique. About my day, I had breakfast with Catherine from Beauty by Cat. Later, my bf and I headed to the pool- I tanned and read a magazine while he swam. Finally, we watched a movie at home!

Otro día super caliente en Miami, así que opté por shorts y una camisa delgada amarrada. He visto a muchas celebridades usando esta tendencia y me gusta el aire relajado que le da a cualquier look. Lo combiné con estos oxfords que compré hace poco y mi carterita de Mimi Boutique. El día empezó yendo a comer con Catherine de Beauty by Cat; comimos arepas. Luego el calor nos llevó a mi novio y a mi a la piscina de la urbanización. Tomamos sol y yo estuve leyendo una revista. Después de eso, vimos una película en la casa y listo.. muy dominguero el día.
