A MYSTERY NO MORE...
My Dear Friends and Followers of BOOKIN' WITH BINGO,
I had hoped to wait to tell you this after my second Blogoversary on January 9, but think it only fair I explain a little now. I have not posted really anything substantial for a few days and may not be for a few more. The reason originally is that I am having some personal health issues that were forcing me to cut back in my blogging. Doing a post, review, and giveaway daily...sometimes two, takes a lot of time. It is time I love spending but with some health issues I have to deal with, I was going to cut back after January 9th. At that time, and I hope this will still be true, and I will still blog most days but reviews and giveaways will be less often. I hope to be able to still post daily with some fun things, news, my own writing, etc, and limit book reviews and giveaways to perhaps a few each month. I have some amazingly kind and generous friends at major publishing houses who are working with me to allow me to set my own schedule and pace. I have the option with them to work with books that I am really interested in the most to present to you for review and giveaways. I am still planning on going to this schedule following a really wonderful, jam-packed giveaway 2nd Blogoversary on January 9 ...and maybe 10th and 11th as there is so much!
However, a minor emergency came up on Dec. 17th and as much as I tried to ignore it, it didn't go away so I was forced to initiate a "no REAL post" schedule for a few days around Christmas while I deal with this new issue. As my dad raised me to know, without your health, you have nothing, and I have so much to live for that I must deal with this before anything else.
Please try and check in with me daily as I have some posts already done ahead of time even for this and next week. Subscribing through email is I think the easiest way to follow my blog especially at this time because if I post, you will know it each time I do. I HOPE to post something, even if just an update, each day.
I am not accepting requests for reviews any more since I have "my people" in place to do all the books I can handle for the time being. Down the road, I hope to once again get back to what I love doing on a more regular basis.
As for current giveaways, please go ahead and enter and comment. I will chance it and take off modification as I won't be able to get to all that so hope people are respectful of that. I will try and read all your comments any way when possible. Giveaways that end during this transition time have been extended a few days while I get back on my feet, so check the dates in the giveaway column.
Mailing of giveaway prizes will still be taken care of (by my OTHER Bingo Buddy--my husband) but may not be quite as fast as in the past so I thank you for your patience there.
With that said, I thank you all for your understanding and do hope you will not give up on old BOOKIN' WITH BINGO because I will still be here...just maybe not as often as one might like....at least for a while. May you and yours have a wonderful, happy, HEALTHY holiday and the best year of all coming up in 2011!
