Last week I blogged about a delicious new website I hadn't seen before, CHOCOLATE.COM, described by BUSINESS WEEK as "An Online Emporium" where one can find every kind of chocolate that you can imagine and for every occasion. Following my tasting and reviewing of two products, a Four Piece Dark Chocolate Truffle Box, and Chocolate Dipped Nutter Butters Ghosts and Mummy Designs, both coincidentally from Olde Naples Chocolates in Naples, FL, I was hooked.

I decided that having set up an account on CHOCOLATE.COM which was so easy, and receiving a $5 Gift Certificate just for doing so, that I just had to order something. Knowing a good deal when I saw one, I couldn't let that Gift Certificate just sit there so I searched for a favorite of mine, chocolate covered marshmallows. Of course, there were several to choose from and I settled on "Hand Crafted Dark Chocolate Covered Marshmallows". These also happen to come from Olde Naples Chocolates, not that I planned it that way, but knew from experience, I wouldn't be disappointed.

The description said there were 25 pieces in the box and also described them as "Our premium dark chocolate covers our homemade slab marshmallows. Hand cut, no two marshmallows are the same. Made fresh with each order". Sounded pretty good to me, so I ordered and for $13.00 thought it quite a good deal, especially with my $5 Gift Certificate. In less than 48 hours, in a cushioned, special ice packed container, they arrived...perfect, even in the heat of Florida where I live. 

I have died and gone to heaven and REALLY am rationing myself but thought I would share them with you (HA! on the blog, not in person) using a photograph before they were all gone. Note in this picture, mysteriously, several have already disappeared. With the rich, dark chocolate covering these amazing homemade marshmallows, I found out what the difference is between these kind of marshmallows and the ones you buy in a bag at a store. Fluffy and just sweet enough, you really can eat just one and be satisfied...well, not that you don't want more but you know what I mean!

 With the holidays so close, I wanted to share this information with you so you would not forget to check out CHOCOLATE.COM as well as enter for more chances at the $25 Gift Certificate.
